Tradicionalni Deba nozevi namenjeni su iskljucivo obradi ribe sa kostima, ipak Deba iz Miyako serije pruza nesto vise. Za pocetak, secivo je bruseno asimetricno u odnosu 90/10, za razliku od tradicionalnih Deba koje su brusene sa jedne strane. Ovo cini da noz ima veci stepen ostrine koju znatno duze zadrzava i lakse se ponovo ostri. Debljina seciva u poredjenju sa tradicionalnom varijantom je mnogo tanja sto cini da ovaj noz bude prikladan za svakodnevne zadatke seckanja i secenja razlicitih namirnica kao i filetiranje ribe.
Najvaznija razlika jeste da je Miyako Deba napravljena od nerdjajuceg celika sto je prikladno za sve korisnike koji ne zele karbonski noz u svojoj kolekciji. Secivo je napravljeno u 33 sloja damaskus celika sa predivnim kontrastom izmedju maglovitih slojeva i visoko ispoliranog sredisnjeg celika koji se nalazi uz ostricu.
Drska je od kompresovanog drveta u obliku slova D i ispolirana je do mat zavrsnice koja daje osecaj prijatnosti i sigurnosti.

Traditional Deba knives are intended exclusively for processing bony fish, however Deba from the Miyako series offers something more. For starters, the blade is asymmetrically ground in a 90/10 ratio, unlike traditional Debas that are ground on one side. This gives the knife a higher degree of sharpness, which it retains much longer and is easier to resharpen. The thickness of the blade compared to the traditional variant is much thinner, which makes this knife suitable for everyday tasks of chopping and slicing different foods as well as filleting fish.
The most important difference is that the Miyako Deba is made of stainless steel, which is suitable for all users who do not want a carbon knife in their collection. The blade is made of 33 layers of Damascus steel with a beautiful contrast between the hazy layers and the highly polished center steel that sits next to the blade.
The handle is made of compressed wood in the shape of the letter D and is polished to a matte finish that gives a feeling of comfort and safety.
