Hamer Tone serija iz kovavcnice Tadafusa spada u jedne od najfinijih japanskih seciva. Njihov dizajn u kombinaciji sa tradicionalnim, rucnim tehnikama izrade rezultira proizvodom koji nikoga ne ostavlja ravnodusnim.
Rec Santoku u Japanu oznacava "tri vrline" ili " resenje za 3 problema" i ovo se odnosi na meso, ribu i povrce. Omiljeni je noz za domacinstva ali ga takodje cene i profesionalci zbog njegove visine. Sa ovim noyem cete uzivati dok budete seckali voce ili povrce a nece zakazati ni kada je rec o pripremi mesa.
Celik koji se koristi za izradu ovog noza je SLD, polu-reaktivni celik koji je razvila Hitachi kompanija za potrebe rezanja drugog celika. Ipak, pronasao je siroku primenu u izradi kuhinjskih nozeva a izuzetno je cenjen zbog svoje tvrdoce, vrhunske ostrine i velike otpornosti na rdjanje za razliku od njegovih karbonskih kolega.Posebna struktura celika dozvoljava mu da svoju ostrinu zadrzi znatno duze od drugih celika, sama cinjenica da se koristi za rezanje celicnih legura govori dovoljno o njegovoj otpornosti.
Tsuchime tehnika predstavlja tragove cekicanja. Ti tragovi se smatraju kovackom zavrsnicom i cesto su karakteristicnog okruglog oblika dok ono sto odvaja ovu seriju od drugih nozeva sa slicnim zavrsnicama jeste upravo sam oblik tragova cekicanja koji su karakteristicni samo za ovu seriju nozeva iz kovacnice Tadafusa. Sam naziv serije Hammer Tone potice od sveze kovanog izgleda tragova cekica u obliku slova X.
Drska na ovom nozu ovalnog je oblika i napravljena je od drveta oraha u kombinaciji sa crnom pakka kragnom. Ovaj dizajn posebno je odabran za nasu radnju tokom posete Japanu i same kovacnice.Drska je visoko ispolirana i daje izuzetno prijatan osecaj u ruci.

The Hammer Tone series from the Tadafusa forge is one of the finest Japanese blades. Their design combined with traditional, manual manufacturing techniques results in a product that leaves no one indifferent.
The word Santoku in Japan means "three virtues" or "solution to 3 problems" and this refers to meat, fish and vegetables. It is a favorite knife for households, but it is also appreciated by professionals because of its height. With this knife, you will enjoy chopping fruit or vegetables, and it will not fail when it comes to preparing meat.
The steel used to make this knife is SLD, a semi-reactive steel developed by the Hitachi company for the purpose of cutting other steel. Nevertheless, it has found wide application in the production of kitchen knives and is extremely valued for its hardness, superior sharpness and high resistance to rusting, unlike its carbon counterparts.
The special structure of the steel allows it to retain its sharpness much longer than other steels, the very fact that it is used for cutting steel alloys speaks volumes for its resistance.
The Tsuchime technique presents traces of hammering. Those marks are considered a blacksmith's finish and are often of a characteristic round shape, while what separates this series from other knives with similar finishes is precisely the shape of the hammering marks, which are characteristic only for this series of knives from the Tadafus forge. The very name of the Hammer Tone series comes from the freshly minted appearance of the X-shaped hammer marks.
The handle on this knife is oval in shape and is made of walnut wood combined with a black pakka collar. This design was specially selected for our shop during a visit to Japan and the forge itself.
The handle is highly polished and feels extremely comfortable in the hand.
